Hi, I’m a senior who committed to UIUC Statistics major and looking forward to transfer to business school.
I heard I need to take pre-requisite courses and maintain high GPA for transfer, but how competitive is it to transfer to College of Business? Is it difficult or relatively doable?

It is very competitive…difficult but doable. Be sure to read up on it and let your advisor know when you register for classes…also make sure to read each “tabbed” section in the link.

You will need to be focused in your pursuit. In other words, I would plan on pushing yourself to achieve not only great grades, but also distinguish yourself by pursuing a high level of involvement on campus. You only get one shot at it, so if ‘business’ is your goal, start on day one. Good luck!
