Transfer to cornell aem helppp

I applied to cornell my senior year in high school, but got rejected. I finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 increasing significantly every year, also got a 4.4 my senior year first semester. I have good ecs and 29 ACT/ 1980 SAT. I am planning on going to Wake Forest for a year and then trying to transfer, I am looking to major in business, what gpa would I need to transfer to cornell aem? Because of Wake is known for tough grading would anything above a 3.5 be above average chances?

TRansfer to aem soph. year

what are my chances for transferring to cornell aem
what would I need to get at Wake?

getting a transfer is really hard to do.

getting a transfer option as a decision is a sure fire way of getting in assuming you maintain a certain gpa and take certain classes.

going to an Ithaca community college with joint programs in the agriculture, ILR, and HumanEC school is also a possible way to transfer…

most transfers come from their TO or GT programs (transfer option or Guarantee transfer w/e you like to call it) and a very select few from their local community colleges.

Besides that transfers are really rare just like any other Ivy league school and are on a case to case basis…

i know its hard what are my chances anyone

by the time you apply for transfer, your SATs/high school GPA are going to be practically meaningless. Your grades in college during your 1.5 semesters of grading before applying is what’s going to determine your “chances” pretty much.

I wwwould be applying as a sophomore transfer so only one semester of college work I guess would be seen
