Transfer to Cornell Physics Engineering Chance?

<p>I have posted this under the transfer thread, but seems no one saw that...</p>

<p>Applying: Cornell University Major: Physics Engineering
Current School: Case Western Reserve University
Current GPA: 3.865 (I believe I will get all A for this semester, so it will be closer to 3.9)
Credits: 97 (currently, i am a sophomore, i have overloaded and 23 from AP)
High School GPA: 3.9
SAT score: (As an international student, I didn't take that)
EC: Not very much in university. Just attended a research last summer in CWRU. In high school, I have attended many physics competition and earned some prizes.

<p>Your stats seem solid, but I’m not sure if your EC’s are up to par, and the lack of standardized test scores may hurt you. CAS transfers are always very competitive so hopefully you had great essays and recommendations to back up your application. </p>

<p>UCB takes a lot of its junior year transfers from CC’s (Cornell does the same for its contract colleges because of their articulation agreements), so don’t feel discouraged if you didn’t get in there. It doesn’t necessarily mean anything for your other schools. Best of luck!</p>

Now I am waiting for results from Cornell, JHU and Georgia Tech. I really cannot imagine all-rejection…
If that happens, I may apply transfer next spring. I will take GRE test this summer. Do you think a good GRE score will help in transfer?</p>
