I will be applying to Cal poly Pomona and Fullerton for fall 2019 for psychology. For cal poly does it help a lot if I’m local and have an ADT???
You will be given priority for being local and having your ADT along with a GPA bump. Yes it does help but I the CPP website states it does not guarantee admission. Your ADT guarantees admission to one CSU but not always your choice CSU.
If your non-local for CSU Fullerton, you will need a CSU Transfer GPA of 3.4+ for a solid chance.
@Gumbymom I still have one more class out of my golden 4. I’m taking it in the winter and I was wondering will they take in consideration that I’m still finishing my last one
Having the Golden 4 completed at the time of application is the best possible scenario, but completing by Winter is better than in the Spring. It may put you at a slight disadvantage.
@Gumbymom okay with that being said should I apply for winter/spring as well???
If you are not accepted for Fall, then you could always apply for Winter/Spring quarters.
