I got accepted to both school & am really stuck between the two. My major as it stands right now is still undecided, but I plan to do marketing or economics.

Baruch is cheaper, has connections with firms/corporations for job/internships in the city, Will need to commute & living @ home, has little to no social interactions.

Binghamton, on the other hand- jobs/internships are scarce, Get the experience (build lasting friendships), better reputation?, will need to take out loans

My predicament is which would I benefit more from in the long term? I definitely need to fulfilled some internship experience if I hope to land a job quickly after I graduate. I definitely need to interact more & develop friendships.

Seeing as I haven't progress much at my current CUNY school, I guess its a no brainer to choose binghamton?

What is your experience? Do you regret going to either schools? Any advice? Thanks!

Which do you think is more likely? Making friends at CUNY Baruch, or getting internships at Binghamton?
I can’t really help you, because I don’t know much about these schools, but I have been told many times that Binghamton is the best public in NY state.

This keeps coming up a lot, I guess bing and Baruch have a huge amount of cross admits…

If you choose Baruch you’ll hardly be at a disadvantage (as long as you’re going into business). But most everyone will tell you to choose Binghamton and simply apply for outside scholarships to help lower loans.

I personally don’t think there’s much of a difference between the two, but where there are differences Binghamton will always best Baruch. Especially when it comes to grad school applications.

Post your thread on the College Search & Selection forum. It gets much more traffic than this forum and your questions are about the schools, not about transferring per se.
