transfer to depaul?

I have already applied and got accepted to transfer to the school of commerce for the winter 2011 term. However, I want to know if you guys think I should go or not. Right now I am going to the university of iowa with resident tuition and decent financial aid. I am a junior, undecided major, but most of my coursework has been in business. I am a junior this year, but it is going to take me 2 more years to graduate regardless. I have never been happy at the u of I and have tried to transfer to more prestigious schools before without any luck. Now I am looking to go to depaul and get my degree in sports management and a minor in entrepreneurship. I wasn't offered a great financial aid package though and it will probably end up costing me 3 times as much money to get a degree there than at iowa. However, money and the fact that depaul gets a bad rep are the only things making this decision hard, while there a million reasons why I want to attend. I am a good student, I don't party, I am a hard worker, and I enjoy the city life. What would you guys do if you were in my shoes?

I don’t think that depaul has a bad rep at all. When I went to Chicago and told people I was Visiting depaul almost everybody knew someone that went there and they all said depaul got that person into well known companies in Chicago.

DePaul’s college of commerce is among the nation’s best.

Thanks for the info on the rankings and such of the business school. I did look at all of that stuff, but some people that I had talked to about it said that DePaul is kind of a joke school. I dont know if they were trying to keep me at the University of Iowa or what!

But anyways, is it worth spending 3-4 times the out-of-pocket money that I am spending now?

BTW, I might have had a change in heart in what direction I want to go degree-wise. I am now leaning toward the major that I should have decided on a long time ago, mathematics. Is there math department reputable?
