Transfer to EECS?

I was admitted to Applied Math, L&S.

What are the procedures to transfer into the EECS program? Is this something that is possible before freshman year? Do I transfer in fall of sophomore year? If so, do I need to take EECS route courses in freshman year? (Or what courses DO I need to take?)

Um… from what Ive heard it is almost impossible to transfer into EECS. There are only a few spots open every year for transfers and I heard that the GPA must like 3.8 or something like that to transfer in. Although I wish you the best of luck! :)

Just do CS L&S! It is almost the same thing minus the EE part.

If you’re not interested at all in EE, don’t do EECS. You can just do CS L&S.

It’s really hard to transfer from L&S to COE. You have to have at least 1 year worth of grades in order to transfer. If your GPA is high enough (3.7+) then maybe you’ll get in. You still have to take a minimum amount of courses within the EECS department. I forgot what these are but you can ask a counselor. But good luck! :)
