I am not looking to be shot down and told that my chances are low; I am looking to hear what there is that I can do to improve my chances. I dual enrolled at Georgia Highlands my senior year of high school and received 13 credit hours and a 3.0 GPA; I would have received 25, but due to a very tragic event, I had to medically withdraw. In fall 2014, I began my freshman year at Georgia Southern. I obtained 15 credits hours and a 3.46 GPA. Second semester, my home burnt down; my family lost everything, so I withdrew from school to help them out and recover from my own personal issues that came up after the fire. I plan to go to Kennesaw State University for a year and then applying (and hopefully transferring) to Emory. I would like to go the Pre-Medical route. I am looking for any advice or suggestions on how to increase my chances of being able to get into Emory. Thanks in advanced!
