I am currently ending my freshmen year at a university, and I am considering transferring to FSU because I have realized what I want to major in (family and child sciences) and my current university does not have that major. The transfer app deadline is July 1. I got into FSU UF and UMiami senior year of high school but parents didn't want to pay full miami tuition and at the time I wanted to go out of state (I am from florida). I have a 3.1 possibly 3.2 gpa, may change with final spring grades but may not cause I struggled in my economics class. I had a 3.7 high school gpa and a lot of extracurriculars in highschool and 28 ACT score. I am a D1 athlete at my current school but definitely do not plan to do that at FSU. Will I get in? I'm a little worried because my college gpa isn't at it's best but I have been told from transfers to my current school that it is definitely harder at my current college than the state schools they attended (not degrading state schools in any way) Any advice?
