Transfer to Georgia State University..anyone ever done it?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>Right now I am a student at Bama' looking to transfer to GSU. Honestly, I am not too sure I can get in but if anyone has any experience with this stuff, here are my stats.</p>

<p>Bama- 2.6/4.0 GPA, 55 hours by end of semester, and possibly a 2.89 GPA
Undergrad research in Genetics for biology department.</p>

<p>Duke- 2.34/4.0 GPA, around 10 hours</p>

<p>As is stands, does anything think I will get in? I really want to get the hell up out of tuscaloosa and back to a major city.</p>

<p>Are you in-state for GSU? What’s up with the 10 hours from Duke?</p>

<p>Yeah I would be in state. I graduated from a Georgia high school and everything. The 10 hours are from two classes I took there over the summer. I got in again for this summer and was actually just signing up for those classes now.</p>

<p>Also, if it helps any I had a job at the school’s library that I worked 25 hours a week at last year.</p>
