Transfer to georgia tech

I am a freshman engineering student, my GPA is 3.1 and I am completing Calc II, physics and chemistry right now. how hard is it to transfer to georgia tech for engineering. Btw - I am a international student.

i think it would depend on where that 3.1 is coming from

I am at purdue now and I can raise it upto 3.3 by the time I transfer

Since you are a first year transfer, you also need the SAT. At Tech, the Math score will be the most important thing for you. Id say 3.3 GPA and 700+ Math will get you in. Purdue is a pretty good school. Good Luck!

I think his GPA is fantastic coming from Perdue. And, acceptance rate is higher for transfers at GA Tech than at most schools. I'm sure that since you got into Perdue, you have a 700+ SAT.

Tech acceped 494 transfer candidates out of 1199 applicants. That works out to be about 41% of applicants, so there's a pretty good shot for you since you're coming from a good school with a respectable GPA.
