Alright, everyone and their mother has one of these threads going, so, why not me? I'm looking for some honest advice, even if it's not what I want to hear. I want to transfer as a junior to George Washington University, specifically, the Elliot School of International Affairs. Here we go:

Community College

GPA: 3.85 (only two B's, and they were in math classes, which is mostly irrelevant to my intended major. Hopefully, they will take this into consideration.)

Professor LOR: Although I didn't see it (obviously), I know it's absolutely stellar. She basically told me so.

College Official's Report: This is weird because I don't know the Dean of Students on a personal level, so his personal observations of me are essentially nonexistent. However, this is, I'm sure, a common issue with student/college official relationships. I have a clean academic and disciplinary record, though.

Essay: Yet to be written. It will be a masterpiece. (can you smell that confidence?)

Extra Curricular's: None

By the way, I'm 29. I'm not sure of that's likely to help or hurt my chances, but I figured I'd throw that out there as a factor. What do you think? Am I in? Thanks.
