Transfer to Hanover

<p>Hi, I rejected by Dartmouth this year (no surprise). I will be attending a top 25 school which I really like and am sure I will enjoy. However, I want to work in finance and Dartmouth is great for that. If I did want to transfer, is it even possible?</p>

<p>Does Dartmouth take transfers (after 1 or 2 years?)?
What GPA should I be aiming for?
Anyone have any stats on transferring?</p>

<p>According to the “USN&WR Ultimate College Guide, 2009”, the transfer admissions rate for the Fall of 2007 at Dartmouth was 8%- 497 applied, 41 were accepted.
Like most elite schools, the transfer admissions rate tends to be lower than for the regular cycle. The same year, Columbia’s transfer admissions rate was 8%, Brown’s 9%, Penn’s 14%, and Yale’s 4%.</p>
