Transfer to Harvard

I will be attending Cornell this fall, but I'd like to transfer to Harvard.
Assume that I work hard and join activities, what is my chance?

My stats are
SAT 2270
SAT II 3 800s

200 hr volunteering in high school
tri-lingual
lived in other countries
single-parent family
father is a cancer survivor (part of my reason for transferring so I can be closeto home)

I plan to major in science/engineering. I've attended Harvard summer school 2006 and applied for freshman admissions this year but was rejected.

Also, what should I do to distinguish myself? Should I do more community service? Find a job? I am pretty lost...

Essay and good grades at Cornell would be a good start. Get involved with activities on campus and take active leadership roles. As cliche as this advise sounds, that's about all you can really do.

Keep up with the ECs, take a small class and impress the teacher (get a great rec), maybe try and do some research with a prof, get a 4.0 and maybe you have a shot.

I see... Thanks for the advice. Do you think coming from another Ivy League can help? What should I emphasize on my application? The fact that I want to be closer to home or Harvard's programs?
