Transfer to Iowa State University

Hello All,
I recently applied for Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University in Ames. I currently attend a small university in Texas studying Agricultural business, my current GPA is a 3.26 on 41 hours. Previous to this small university, I attended Central Texas College and received my A.A. in General Studies, i maintained a GPA of 2.86 on 48 hours (This school allowed me to use my military service). The university that i am currently attending has computed my cumulative GPA as a 3.08.
Not sure if this matters for transfer admission but i am at Veteran and utilizing my Post 9/11 GI Bill for tuition, room and board. I am an out state applicant.

thank you,

It is perfectly OK for you to call the transfer admissions office at ISU and ask them about your situation. Be sure to speak with someone there who is familiar with veteran issues.

Have you asked this in the Veterans sub-forum? It is a the top of the College Admissions Forum under the heading “Specialty College Admissions Topics”.

Wishing you all the best!
