Transfer to LC?

Hi everyone! I am currently a sophmore at a 4 year university in NY, I really want to transfer and I think FU:LC will be the best place for me b/c of the comm. major w/ the television concentration.

Here are my stats:
ACT: 27 (equivalent to a 1250ish on the old SAT)
HS GPA: 91
College GPAs:
Frosh Fall: 3.25
Frosh Spring: 3.68
Soph Fall: As of now, around a 3.7.

What do you guys think??

as a transfer student it might be a little easier to get into Fordham because the school can now see what your performance has been in college studies, however, make sure you apply early because new incoming freshmen’s do get priority seating.

GL!

thanks, I didn't know about the priority seating for freshman. i'll probably submit the app in late december/early january. (its not due till june 1st.) thanks again, amilkita.

Do you think I have a chance of getting in to Fordham?

I am also a transfer student.

High school gpa: 3.4
college Gpa: 3.75
SAT I: 1060 (horrible, I know)

started my own non profit group to raise money for inner city schools
tons of leadership roles and EC
Cross country and track team every year in HS

excellent essay and letter of rec.

absolutely!

thanks! i hope you are right. does anyone know anything about socila life at LC?

good question, id like to know this to! anyone?

well, it's very fast paced. You're right smack in the middle of Manhattan, next to one of the most prestigious concert halls in America (Lincoln Center), and a couple of blocks from Broadway's Theater district. If at Rose Hill you find students who have a bit more of an all American attitude - more laid back, so to speak, then at LC students are more of a "Fabulous" type of crowd, and I don't mean that in a bad way - that's just the typical New Yorker if you ask me. If you are into being in a more tranquil environment, then RH is the place, but if you're more into hanging out, shopping, cafes, city night life - LC is the place. I live in the city, so the hustle and bustle is something I wanted to avoid while I'm in study mode, that's why I chose to commute to RH. As far as clubs and organizations at school, I don’t know much about that. I only take my classes, do some studying, then head back home to the city and hit the streets. NY + Fordham; is the best.

hey guys! i have my updated stats...

sophmore fall: 4.0
overall gpa: 3.67
gpa in major: 4.0

does this help me out, if so how much?

thanks.

like...YEAHHH, maybe like this much...( ) :-)

Good Luck, I think you're in!
