<p>Only a month and change until the transfer students hear back from MIT. Freshman applicants hear tomorrow (lucky!) and I'm sitting here re-thinking every part of my application. </p>
<p>Was just curious for some other opinions on my chances
Applied as a mathematics major (course 18)
College GPA: 4.0
SAT I : 2200
SAT II: 800 MathII 790 Physics
Finished all mathematics, physics, chemistry and bio in two years
I go to a california community college but have enrolled in upper division mathematics at the UC
I work as an intern in the UC mechanical engineering lab</p>
<p>Before I went to community college I went to a private music school in new york city and have recorded on multiple movie soundtracks as well as performed all around the world. I decided it wasn't the life for me so I started my academic career and fell in love with mathematics. </p>
<p>Lead a robotics team - 2 years
Trilingual
Tutor mathematics / physics - 2 years
Teach at a calculus camp every year
Write a blog on mathematics - 1 year
Have studied abroad in Germany in high school</p>
<p>I got excellent letters of recommendation from professors who really know me. </p>
<p>Anyways, I know the transfer admissions rate is incredibly low, but I wonder if I stand a chance?</p>
