Hi there, i'm really stoked at the possibility of maybe transferring to MSU next year. (MSU = Michigan State University)

I'm currently a freshmen at Oakland University.
I definitely should be doing better, but i will probably end up with a 3.2 at the end of this semester.
I hope to apply as a transfer student when i get 28 credits (basically after 1 year at oakland) lets say i struggle and only obtain a 3.2-3.4 GPA,
Will a 3.2-3.4 GPA be strong enough to be admitted into MSU as a transfer student?

Also, does MSU admissions consider how much you work (I work 20+ hours a week) and the level of GPA at the institution you attend. (Consider Oakland University is probably a little bit harder than Oakland Community College.)

PS: A Friend of mine got admitted with a 3.8 GPA from Oakland Community College.

Any reply would be grateful, thanks much.
