I was wait listed and then rejected from Northwestern last year when I was a graduating senior in high school. I'm currently going to a different school but I'm hoping to transfer to a private school, specifically Northwestern. On its site, NU says, "Applicants who were previously denied admission to Northwestern must wait one academic year before being reconsidered and are strongly encouraged to enroll full-time at another college or university for that period." Does this mean I can't apply as a freshman in college because I haven't been enrolled for one academic year? When can I apply to NU as a transfer student?
