Hi, I got a question. I will be in the Community College and study Associate Science of Psychology. According to my Agency, i can transfer from Psychology to Pre-Nursing if my GPA is high enough. Planning to transfer to University after graduating at Community College. The question is, how's this possible?

If you get an Associates degree RN, you can enter a RN to BSN program at the schools that have them (many do, if they offer the BSN).

If you just satisfy the nursing pre-reqs and don’t start the clinical courses, you can apply to enter the “nursing program” of a school that does NOT have a direct-entry BSN program. In other words, you would be entering at the beginning of the junior year and have 2 more years to get your BSN (at some schools, you can start either in the fall or the spring - so check for that).

Most schools that offer the BSN are not direct-entry and you could apply to them. However, they may each have slightly different requirements for entry. Some require a standardized test as part of the process. Start by looking at schools/areas that you’re interested in, and search out all relevant details. Good luck!
