Transfer to NYU? Better chances coming from rural LAC?

Hi! So I've decided I'm unhappy with my LAC..yes I know, it can happen! But anyway, I recently applied..(and at the very last minute too!) to transfer to the school of Gallatin at NYU. Is anyone else attempting this? I'm dying to get in...it's the only school I had time to apply to (I decided I wanted to transfer impulsively around march 28th--to some palce completely opposite of this rural...LAC..Kenyon) Anyway, I have a 28 act and about a 3.7gpa from high school. At college, I have about a 3.5 but that's only from 3 classes first semester..I'm taking 5 classes now. I guess these statistics are too random huh? I'm also native american, does that help? PLUS (and this is the major question) would it make a difference that I'm transferring from a rural LAC? Would they take into consideration the huge difference in environment as a positive thing and perhaps..assume that I will offer some type of influence that perhaps a university student transferring in might not have? Well, these are just my thoughts..I'd also just like to talk to whoever else is going through the painstaking transfer process. I feel like I'm stuck at college right now...just waiting for an answer....
