<p>Hey guys, I just had a question regarding my chances for transferring into NYU from BU.
I am currently a freshman at BU, i just started school this fall. I applied to NYU, as well, but I was rejected, i dont know why though because I felt I had what it takes to get in. Regardless, these are my records.
I went to Bronx High School of Science (if you live in NYC, you'd know its a prestigious school)
- I had a 4.0 gpa
- 8 AP classes
- 6 honors classes
- national honors society
- SAT: 2030
- ACT: 30
- 3 SAT IIs (690, 690, 710)
- good extracurricular
So i am currently in BU taking Chemistry, Biology, Writing and Hindi, and hope to do well on them.
what are my chances of getting into NYU?</p>
<p>It seems like a good a chance as anyone. I too am surprised you didn’t get admitted but they can’t admit everyone and likely they get enough NY residents they look for diversity.</p>
