Based on numbers mostly, where would I rank in the typical pool of Stern transfer admits? I realize my HS GPA is a bit low, and my SAT is slightly above average, but what about my college GPA? Also, would the reputation of my university help make up for GPA?

hey magnum,

i transferred into stern last year from a state univ. it seemed like most of the stern transfers last year had pretty high gpas (3.9s or so), although i know people who had much lower (i.e. 3.6 from indiana and 3.4 from purdue). not to scare you or anything, but word on the street is that there won't be too many transfer spots this year because the current freshman class is the largest stern has ever had. however, you should still try. i'm sure that coming from jhu will help.
