Hi, I am in a community college in the Cleveland, Ohio area currently and I want to transfer to Ohio State for 2010 autumn quarter my gpa at the moment is 3.35 and if I end up doing pretty well in my spring classes it should move up to around a 3.4-3.5 range or maybe 3.6 if I get straight A's. But say my gpa ends up being around 3.4-3.5. I have to send my High school transcript since I won't have the required 30 semester credits I will have about 28 credits by the time I apply in June. My High School gpa was 3.3. Will I have a chance at Ohio State for the fall? This has been bugging me I can't seem to stop thinking about it I really want to get into Ohio State. What do you guys think?

I guess I just want to know some stats of acceptances for transfer students and with my current record if I will have a shot.

Anyone got any advice?

I know someone who just got in with a 3.43, but she has around 60 credits and a 5.4 high school GPA (although she didn’t send her HS transcript). Ohio State is really nice and it is my backup if UNC doesn’t work out.

Write solid essays and you should have a good shot. Good luck!
