Transfer to Sarah Lawrence?

I'm currently a freshman anthropology major at a midsized private college in central/upstate New York and I'm thinking of transferring. I'm starting to feel really isolated where I am now and overall I'm dissatisfied with my experience, academic and social.

Sarah Lawrence first caught my attention because it didn't have any majors or prerequisites and now the more I learn about it, the more I love it. Plus, I love its location. So I was just wondering how hard it would be for me get accepted as a transfer there.

I'm predicting that I'll have a 3.5 or higher GPA by the end of the year, and I'm involved with some unique activities on campus. High school was a rough time for me because of a family crisis my Junior year, and as a result my grades weren't amazing that year. Overall, I had a 3.7ish weighted GPA.

I'm also applying to Fordham, NYU, Georgetown, American, George Washington, and TCNJ. (If anyone has any other suggestions, please tell me.)

Thanks.

It shouldn’t be too hard to get into Sarah Lawrence. I’d say you’re almost certain to get into SLC. Much more than Georgetown and GW. Don’t go to NYU unless you don’t mind not having a campus.

Also, if you have any questions about SLC go here - [Sarah Lawrence College Class of 2015.](<a href=“Sarah Lawrence College Class of 2015 Public Group | Facebook”>Sarah Lawrence College Class of 2015 Public Group | Facebook) Join that group.
