<p>My gpa for the first year at college is 3.1 i know bad but i want to transform to schools in the northeast like uconn umass or stony brook. Do i have a chance</p>

<p>umass and stony brook shouldn’t be a problem. uconn may be harder. i wouldn’t go to stony brook though. you can definitely look into some other SUNYs. check the SUNY website and see which ones you’d be comfortable applying to and check their minimum gpa requirements</p>
