Ok, so i'm applying as a transfer to a school i was rejected from the first time, and i'm terrified of being rejected again. I'm almost 99% sure I was rejected the first time because of a horrible/BS-ed essay, family complications, and the fact that i was really, really ignorant of, well life, back then.

my question is, do you think i have a chance this time? i had a 4.8 in HS, along with 4s and 5s on all my ap exams (i've taken 8) except for a 3 in french. along with all the other stuff varsity athletcis and clubs and that sort of thing. and my essays are wayyyy better this time.

i'm so worried b/c i only have a 3.6 at the university i attend now because i've been really, really depressed--i don't fit in well here. at all.

do you think they'll see the huge disparity in my hs and college gpa and that will hurt me?
would it helped if i tried to explain the effect being at the school i'm at now has had on me in one of my essays?
