transfer to stern

hey guys,

I am currently a sophomore at Pennstate smeal college of business.
My freshman GPA was a 3.66 and i have the fall semester of my sophomore year to bump it up abit.. goin for a 3.7 cumulative.

Basically i want to find out if u guys think i stand a chance in transfering into NYU Stern for next year.

My HS credentials were: 1750/2400 SAT
GPA: 3.43 unweighted

In college i am involved in an investment club, real estate club, etc.. got some fair work experience in sales

I took all the required courses to be seriously considered.. like calc, and accounting, etc.

So i just wanna hear what u guys think. I realize my HS stats wont help. And i hear that there is no point on retaking the SATs? anyways thanks for ur help.

ehhh this is a toss up.. you are correct in saying that SATS do not need to be retaken... but that is if u have aquired one full year of college coursework or you have never taken them before... Write a good essay that plays a vital part of NYU Sterns transfer admissions. Try and raise your gpa to a 3.7+ and that should make u very competitive.
