What’s up guys, the transfer application for Texas a&m opened up two days ago for the fall of 2018. It says to Texas A&M, you must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a minimum of 24 hours of graded, transferable coursework. I currently have a 2.9 on 31 hours. I know the gpa isn’t high enough for the business school, but I’m just trying to get accepted into tamu. Will I or what do y’all think?
My daughter has a 3.22 and was told by a TAMU advisor to apply into the liberal arts college as that is as close to business as you can get. Mays wasn’t going to be an option for her with a 3.22. She is awaiting her decision now.
Just as another option, my son is currently a freshman at A&M and is in the College of Agriculture. They offer a degree in Agribusiness which incorporates business courses from Mays. There is a gpa requirement for those courses in order to stay in Agribusiness but it isn’t as high as Mays.
