I’m currently in KY moving back to Texas. I went to a community college in KY, and had a really low GPA (2.1), due to depression and a bunch of family problems. I graduated in 2011 from a high school in KY, with a 3.5 GPA. My dad lives in Houston and I will be joining him next year in the summer.
I got into Lone Star College for the Spring 2017 semester to take classes online. I want to do the AS in Electrical Engineering. If I keep my grades up and maintain a 3.5 GPA at Lone Star, will I have a good chance at transferring to Texas A&M?
I have never taken the SAT, but if I do and get a good score will this help as well?
