<p>Hi! Just a few questions..
I am applying to UCI for the fall of 2012.. I have 33 units right now & am in the process of finishing 14 units which would make for a total of 47 and then I would finish up in the spring with 13 units to complete the 60 units.. HOWEVER..</p>

<p>I am taking Microbiology w/ lab this semester & it is 5 units, I am almost positive I am not going to pass the course, which means I am planning on dropping it within the next week.. Which would bring me down to 9 units this semester, and would only total up to 42 units. if I take 14 units in the spring I will ONLY have 56 units.. Which means i would need to take a 4 unit class in the SUMMER of 2012 to complete my 60 units.</p>

<p>Will I still be able to transfer to UCI if I complete my IGETC pre reqs in the spring & then take a course for my major in the summer ?? OR does UCI only accept you if you complete ALL 60 units by spring for a fall transfer..</p>

<p>I have a 3.0 GPA & go to Orange Coast Community.</p>

<p>If I drop it will be my second W, but my first W is for a NONtransferable class, which i retook last summer for a letter grade.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, UC’s do NOT accept Summer 2012 classes before Fall 2012 transfer.
Only way is to take it during Spring 2012</p>
