<p>Have you ever known anyone who was able to transfer to UCLA after only attending another UC for one year? (i know this is incredibly hard to do, but was it possible for anyone?) I'm going to have at least 90 quarter units by the end of the first year, since they said that AP credit will count towards the minimum.</p>
<p>I did some reading on this not too long ago. It is possible, though I am not sure how probable. There are specific requirements beyond just 90 units. For example, you don’t have to complete all of your current UC’s GEs (you will be subject to UCLA’s if you don’t, however), but it is expected that you complete certain English/writing coursework before entry. </p>
<p>Also note that you need to apply for UC to UC transfers during the regular application period, which was in November for Fall 2010. For most majors and programs, no applications for transfer or otherwise are accepted for winter or spring. Maybe if you beg they’ll make an exception, though…</p>
