Transfer to UCLA as bio major with missing 2 IGETC

<p>Hello, I have a question about IGETC.</p>

<p>MY major is Biology, and I am applying to UCLA this year. </p>

<p>I will finish all pre-reqs for major by next spring, and current GPA is 3.96.</p>

<p>However,for UCLA, they strongly recommend to take O-chem 2 and yr of physics even though those are not requirement for admission. </p>

<p>(Taking them would make you more competitive for admission though)</p>

<p>While I finishsed yr of physics, I can't take organic chemistry 2 before I transfer for some reason. </p>

<p>Also, for IGETC, I think I will miss 2 class. </p>

<p>Shortly, my question is 'With no Etc and TAP, how would the fact that not-taking o-chem 2 and missing 2 IGETC classes affect on my Chance?'</p>

<p>by Etc I think you mean EC. With TAP and that GPA, and finishing all required pre-reqs, I think you are in.</p>

<p>Depends on which IGETC. Have your math and english finished for sure. Then at least 4 GE’s. I would try to finish IGETC though.</p>
