Hello I have posted before but I would like a couple more opinions before I apply for a spring transfer to University of Maryland College Park and UNC Chapel Hill:

I completed my freshmen year at Seton Hall University Business school and am currently in my third semester.

G.P.A.: 3.78 freshmen year
Leadership Honors Development Program
Investment Banking: Mergers and Acquisitions Internship in NYC (which I am going to use for my essay)
Big scholarship, Dean's list 2nd semester
From New York

I completed Maryland's pre-req that they want (English and Math). Also, should I wait until Fall for a better chance? I would really like to go this spring though. Thank you everyone!

anyone have an opinion

I believe you can get into UMD but I think UNC chapel hill only accept transfer students in the fall.

how hard do you think it would be in the spring though. I mean I could always re-apply. Are you familiar with this school? Thanks man

I don’t think it is too tough to get in. You have a good college GPA but they will probably weigh your SAT scores and high school GPA a bit since you have only completed 1 year of college.
My brother got in as a transfer from a NJ community college for the fall with around 10k scholarship/year but decided to go to RU instead. He had a 3.8 GPA, 60+ credits, and an associate degree.

thanks man, does anyone else have any stories or input? Thanks
