<p>I received my decision letter yesterday and it said I got denied from UMD. So I was thinking that I could just go to Towson for one semester and apply for the spring semester as a freshmen at UMD. Could I do that? Just wondering.</p>

I took 9 AP courses throughout high school and many honors.
I am also In-State, and I’ve also applied for priority admission.
I am also Hispanic (if that helps in any sort of way).</p>

EC: Played JV soccer 9th and 10th grade year
Played Tennis all through up high school. Captain my 10th grade year and Vice captain Junior year.
Also played 1st singles in Tennis since sophomore year.
I have 660 community service learning hours.
I was a staff at this recreational camp for 3 years.
I was a student Ambassador for 3 years.
I’m a peer mediator at my school. second year doing it.
I play in the school orchestra. 1st Violin second chair
Manager of the Girls Tennis team Junior year.
I am a youth leader of my church with 3 other leaders.
We take turns every week preaching the word of God.
I also work with my dad’s HVAC company everyday on the weekends.</p>

<p>And I was shocked when I received the letter yesterday saying I got denied. Their were so many other people with lower stats than me who got in for fall as well. I was hoping I could’ve done something about it.</p>
