<p>Does anyone know the transfer acceptance rate for UMD?</p>

<p>How are you? I hope that all is well. To answer your question, I do not the transfer rate to be admitted to the Robert M. Smith School of Business, but I have heard from other users who attend the University of Maryland-College Park that it is very difficult to be admitted to the school. You have to be admitted to UMD first, then they will re-evaluate you if you will be directly admitted to the Smith’s School of Business. If you are placed in the College of Arts, Letters, and Sciences, then you must take do the graduation requirements and well as the requirements for Smith’s School of Business and then re-apply as an internal student. You can also do the graduation requirement for UMD and the requirements for the Smith’s School of Business, but you will have to apply the old-fashioned way as an external transfer. It is the same way you are applying for transfer admission at any school. Please visit the Robert M. Smith’s School of Business website and read the information there. Also, talk to the per-transfer adviser for UMD. They will greatly assist you and tell you what you need to do and what to take as they did for me and for an academic interest that I want to major in. </p>
