transfer to UNC

<p>Hi y'all,</p>

<p>I was wondering if there are any transfers out there who could tell me about housing - after looking at the website it seems like the transfers who are lucky enough to get housing are scattered randomly with people who don't have roommates. Is that true? Have any of you had better luck with places like Granville Towers' transfer floor?
Also, did you find it easy to meet people/feel like you fit in/etc. as a transfer there? Did people make you feel welcome?
If anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it! I'm probably jumping the gun here b/c I'm not in yet or anything, but oh well. haha</p>

<p>yea I have same question. I'm applying there also as a transfer. Do transfers get completly screwed with housing? I may try to live in the frat house that I am in at my current school.</p>

<p>I asked this question at a UNC livejournal community and apparently transfers are dead last for everything, from housing to registration.</p>

<p>Check with your frat. The house I tried to stay in said they usually reserve spots in the house for guys that are already on campus.</p>
