I applied to the University of Maryland College Park for the Fall semester 2013 but I was rejected. I still would like to attend and transfer so I have a couple questions. I have a 1390 sat score (all three sections) I have about a 2.8 gpa(I think). Weighted is like a 3.2 or something. Soo I applied to UMBC, Towson University, Howard University, NC A&T, & Stevenson University. If I get into any on these schools, can I easily transfer into UMD if I have good grades (3.0-4.0 range). I really want to go there. Does UMD even look at students from these schools. I'm not sure about Stevenson, but that's the only school I think that I will get into. Also, can I transfer into the spring 2014 semester with my good grades from college, my sat scores, and my high school gpa. I really need advice..I want to go there soo bad.

Read the following link: [Office of Undergraduate Admissions · University of Maryland » Maryland Transfer Advantage Program](http://www.admissions.umd.edu/requirements/MarylandTransferAdvantageProgram.php)

If you can do this and get a 3.0, then it is likely that you will get into College Park, but you will have to transfer to one of the four community colleges in the link.

Good luck getting into College Park
