Transfer to UPenn fall 2010.

I have alot of questions regarding trasferring to UPenn in fall 2010.

First, I'd like to know if I have any chance at all.

I'm a California Community College student and looking to transfer as an incoming junior.
I have a 3.77 college GPA and am a Psych major.
I have 120 volunteer hours this year working with the elderly, and another 25 hours working with kids.
I've worked 3 part-time jobs over the past year, the most notable of which being a shipment manager at a publishing company.

I was a terrible student in high school and never took the SAT (Do I need an SAT score to transfer to UPenn?). My grades have had an excellent upward trend, culminating with a 4.0 in 18 units last semester (6 classes).

If I have very little or no chance, I'll understand. I am applying to most of the UC's, and I love it here in California, so I won't be really disappointed.

Please let me know if I have much of a shot. Thanks guys.

bump? Please. :)

I transferred to Penn this year and truthfully I didn’t meet any transfers from community college. Also, everyone I know had awesome high school records (Penn does require SAT scores for transfer). Penn is awful about transfer credit, which might be why they don’t accept many community college transfers. They only give you credit for a class if they think it was virtually identical to a class at Penn. That being said, it doesn’t hurt to try to transfer here! Good luck!

take the sat. if u get 2100 or above, you may have a chance.
