<p>I have looked around the forum and have not found any threat for prospective transfers to Upenn. Therefore, I want to open one so we can discuss and ask for other peoples suggestions.
Here is my profile, please give some suggestions.
Current status: Sophomore at a 4-year liberal arts college in Georgia, planning to transfer to UPenn as a junior.
Country of Origin: Vietnam
Major: Math-Economics
Minor: Music (Piano)
GPA: 3.8
Extracurricular: President of Model United Nations, Representative of International Student Association, Student Senator, Finalist for the Project for Peace (Projects</a> for Peace)
Internship and research experience: The league of Women Voters of Georgia, DeKalb Workforce Development (Summer 2010), Research assistant for an economics professor
High school involvement: Captain of the Computer Programming team (3rd prize for National Competition), Class President for two years, 3rd prize for math-solving contest in the region, translator for the Institute of International Education.
Future plan: Pursuing a PhD in Economics
