I was just wondering what anyone thinks...

I go to Virginia Tech, but I really want to transfer to a school with a good communications program...especially public relations (and especially in the entertainment industry). I found USC's communications school and it sounds awesome....and I LOVE California and think it would be amazing to go to school in LA and have all those opportunities.
I went to a very competitive/prestigious magnet kind of school in Virginia (Governor's School), which people say is the best high school in the state. I had a 3.93 weighted GPA (but when you look at my transcript, it looks like there are a lot of Bs. but my senior year grades are almsot straight A's. so i dunno if they look mostly just at the GPA or the actual grades), got a 1480 on my SATS (the old one :) ), did a lot of volunteer stuff with girl scouts, habitat for humanity, muscular dystrophy association...played field hockey all 4 years, national honor society, and some other stuff. Lots of APs, college classes.
Right now I'm a freshman at Tech, and I will probably have about a 3.6 GPA by the end of the year...hopefully it will be higher after the fall semester.

Does anyone think I could get into USC with this and being out of state and not being rich (so it's not like they'll be getting donations from my family or anything :) )??
Any opinions would be appreciated!
