<p>Hey guys, I am a petroleum engineering major at University of Houston class of 2016, and I'm also part of the honors college. I really want to transfer into UT, but I want to see where I stand.</p>

<p>Majr: Petroleum Engineering w/ Honors
GPA: I can say 3.6-3.7 ish is a reasonable estimate
Hours : Taking 17 this semester and possibly 21 spring semester
Main classes: Accelerated Calculus ( Cal 1,2,3 in one year), Honors English, Chemistry, University Physics next semester.</p>

<p>High School info if thats necessary:

GPA : 4.15
SAT : 1960 tops</p>

<p>Well, I think you should feel pretty good. The average GPA for transfer students <em>admitted</em> to Cockerell is 3.45</p>
