Hello, I'm currently enrolled at Texas A&M doing the Blinn Team program, in other words I take 3 classes at Blinn College and 2 at A&M per semester. I'm about to start this Fall, but would like to transfer to UT Austin for next year.

I took 4 dual credit classes, my current GPA is 3.800, do you think If I keep up with good grades on my freshman year I will be able to get accepted to UT Austin McCombs School of Business?

Any help is appreciated.
Thank You.

Make sure you have both macro and microecon, as well as calculus 1 & 2 (not business calculus) or they won’t even consider you. Shoot for a gpa at your current college to as close as 4.00 as possible…the higher the better! Extracurricular also don’t hurt. mccombs is extremely hard to get into, my friend applied for transfer with a 3.96 and got rejected. So if you have an option at Mays next year, and you really want to do business, I’d definitely take advantage of that. Good luck.
