Hello,
I was wondering what my chances are of getting into UT Austin as a transfer student from the University of Massachusetts. I currently have a 3.26 GPA, but I am planning on transferring for spring semester of next year. I am currently a sophomore in the college of natural sciences. My GPA should boost to a 3.3-3.5 by the time I plan on transferring. I am also a Texas resident. What are my chances?
Why not transfer for the Fall?
Because I’m going to TA in the fall, and don’t really want to miss out on this opportunity
Any transfer students at UT that can give some input?
The average UT transfer GPA is around 3.65, but it is higher for McCombs and Cockrell. The average transfer application GPA is approximately 3.48. Some transfers are admitted with a 3.3, but those tend to be special cases.
