Okay,
so it is my senior year and i have applied to Baylor, TCU, Trinity, UTD, UTSA, and UH. I want to major in Neuroscience/Neurobiology but my main goal is to go to UT-A. I am top 50 and thats about it (I never really applied my self in High School). My chances of getting to UT-A is about -50%. I already missed the deadline anyways so I can't do the CAP program. My questions are how hard is it to transfer to UT? & Also should I go ahead and attend a University a part of the UT system and transfer from there or attend one of the others i listed above? I know I need 30 hours but I'm just scared I'll go to UTSA try to transfer & get rejected & end up having to stay there even though they don't have my major; any information will be really appreciated. Thanks! :)

Make a 3.7 and above and you will be accepted. Not much to it!

Thanks, so should I just go ahead and go to my second school of choice and transfer from there? Or go to either UTSA or UTD?

UTD is a pretty good school for sciences. I’d rather go there than UTSA if I couldn’t do the CAP program. Make sure you have a 3.5+ at wherever you go to have a decent chance. I chose A&M and currently have a 4.0 GPA (Biology major) and am ready to transfer to UT! :D
