Hi,
I am a international freshman student in Southeastern Louisiana university. My major is computer science and currently I am in second semester. I am looking to transfer to University of Texas Arlington, for Fall 2013. As the UTA website says, I will get some scholarship for having current GPA higher than 3.5 (mine is 4.0). What I am asking is is it better for me take third semester here at Southeastern and transfer to UTA or take a transfer to texas community college which has affiliation with UTA take one semester there and transfer to UTA. I had heard that one will get special scholarship if transferred from a related community college. Is this true? Especially, is it worth the risk?
Another question, I am majoring in computer science degree and will major in cs in UTA too. Both computer science program in southeastern and uta is accredited by abet.org. So, will degree from UTA make much difference? Should I just stay in southeastern and graduate? or is UTA worth it?
How easy is it for a international transfer student to get out of state waiver in UTA?

If possible, i am thinking of transferring to UTA austin, either directly from southeastern to austin, or from a austin's related community to austin univ, or from southeastern to arlington to austin? Is this possible and will i be able to get out of state waiver and scholarships in austin? Or I shouldn't think or austin? Or is there any better alternative?

Guys, please suggest and help me?

regards
