Transfer to UW - Chances?

I'm a college freshmen at Washington State University planning (hoping really) to transfer into University of Washington for Fall 2010. My stats are as follows:

SAT: 1920: CR: 650 Math: 620 WR: 650

College Courses: (18 semester credits, 27 quarter credits by equivalence)
Business Calculus - B
Microeconomics - B-
Geology/Geology Lab: B+/A
World Civilizations: A
Chinese: A
Chinese speaking: Pass (P/F class)
GPA: 3.43

Next Semester Classes: (19 semester credits, 28.5 quarter credits)
Business Calculus (202)
Macroeconomics
English
Management Information Systems & Lab
Chinese
Modern Chinese Culture

High School GPA:
I'm not 100% sure of my overall GPA for high school, but it should be between 3.22 and 3.3 I believe.

My essay is definitely solid and my reasons for transferring out of WSU to UW are for UW's opportunities for Korean studies.

I'm just wondering what peoples thoughts are on my chances? Thank you! =)

Do they require you to submit your high school GPA if you transfer from another Washington State university? I’m hoping to get into UW, but I have a GPA close to yours, and I don’t think I’ll get accepted. Instead, I’m probably going to end up going to Western, and then transferring over to UW.

I think it’ll depend on how many transfers come from community colleges. From what I’ve heard, UW is obligated to accept transfers from community colleges that have an X gpa or above (not sure about the number, but it isnt very high I think).

Hope that there arent a lot of sophomore transfers! I’m sure they’ll already have your high school information on file because my friend who is also trying to transfer as a sophomore got his myUW information, and it has all his information from last year in it (he was accepted last year but got more money somewhere else, long story short, he wants to go to UW now)

since you’re transferring with more than 40 credits, they won’t need your SAT scores
