Any words of wisdom? I had just sent my deposit back to Vanderbilt when I got a letter from Davidson Monday. Trying to weigh out the pros and cons of each school, but not getting very far. I like them both :-)

They have different atmospheres. Go with your instinct/gut of where you think you'll fit in best. They're both good academically, so base your decision on fit and the type of university/college.

choirgirl05,
I know how hard it is to decide which college is the best choice, but you can't go wrong either way. A friend of mine suggested that my daughter imagine the perfect college as relates to size, rural vs urban, atmosphere, culture, weather, and anything else that matters. That may help you.

BTW, my son is at Vanderbilt and really loves the laid back atmosphere, fantastic dorms, great academics and perfect size (for him). Everything they do seems to be top notch, at parents weekend and orientation for example. It's a great campus experience and I don't think you would ever go wrong choosing it. Good luck!
