<p>I got accepted to UC-Davis but unfortunately I did not go with this and decided to go to a service academy. Is it possible to try to transfer in to the 2nd semester?</p>
<p>If you attended another college, you will need to gain admission as a transfer - Davis only considers transfer aps from juniors.</p>
<p>I know of one person who successfully managed to transfer in winter quarter. I don’t know her exact circumstances, but she told me they were really unusual and that she was told she was very lucky she got in.</p>
<p>Basically, yes it is possible to transfer in winter quarter, but it’s very unlikely to happen, so don’t count on it. Your best bet is to apply for transfer for fall 2015.</p>
