Transfer to Woman's College?

Hello! I am sorry if this is breaking any posting rule, I'm new to posting!
Anyways, I am currently in a BS/MD program, but I am not a big fan of the school. (Too much partying/drinking, noise makes it hard to concentrate.)
I was wondering, if transferring to a woman's college (like Bryn Mawr or Barnard) would be too difficult for me? Or should I just stick out the 4 years of college here?
I think my high school grades were decent (10 APs, with about a 97.1 avg) but my SAT/ACT was extremely low (670/670/630 and 32 on ACT)

A 32 on the ACT is low? I’ve heard 30 is the “magic number” as far as the ACT goes…in my opinion, anything greater than a 32 or so only marginally improves your odds.

As for whether or not you should transfer, you might want to keep in mind the option to move to a different, quieter location, as opposed to transferring schools entirely. That might be preferable if you like the program itself at all, and depending on the size of the school you’re at, there are probably like-minded people out there that you could connect with.

32 shoal be fine for any of the women’s colleges.

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your input!
Sorry to ask more questions, but do you think its best that I just submit my ACT instead of both the ACT and SAT?
Some of the woman colleges I was looking at are Bryn Mawr and Barnard, but would Wellesley be too much of a stretch? I heard these colleges are way more competitive for transfers.

Thanks again!

If you depend on fin aid, check a school’s policy re: funding for transfers. It can be a whole 'nother thing.

I didn’t even consider that! Thanks for being so helpful! I think that some of the schools I was looking into do give financial aid, but it would depend how much they give.

Wellesley’s financial aid is amazing for transfers. The other transfers (in my transfer group) to Wellesley did not have absolutely perfect stats. You can’t get accepted to Wellesley if you don’t apply.

(Not that I’m biased or anything… I transferred to Wellesley). :)

I didn’t look into Barnard, but I believe BM’s website said that financial aid is limited for transfers.

thanks college_ruled! Do you think that I’d be able to transfer into Wellesley with my stats? Is it possible if you could tell me more about your transfer experience? I’m so sorry that I’ve been asking so many questions!
Thanks everyone!

Look at Mt Holyoke- good aid for transfers, if you have what they want- and all the womens’ schools love high-performing science majors. Friend transferred in, really liked the pre-med. Plus it’s in a consortium with other schools near, so you have breadth in academic and social opps.
I transfered into Barnard this semester (for similar reasons as what you’re talking about) and it’s definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, they’re so supportive of transfers. Start thinking about transferring, put the wheels in motion. But at the same time think about your reasons for transferring and see if there’s a way to change what you don’t like without leaving. Feel free to message me if you have any questions!

Thanks everyone for your imput! You all are so kind :)
